Seasons

I had planned a fantastic post for today.  I found a delightful book at the bookstore earlier this week and I was all set to share it with you.  A Child's Garden of Verses by Robert Louis Stevenson and illustrated by Gyo Fujikawa - a book that I came across years ago while working at Katy Budget Books and didn't buy, but has since eluded me - finally fell into my hands.  And guys, I was primed.  Then, while reading through my blogroll today, I came upon this.  And do, please click over.  Because only there can you read the post I wanted to write.

So, needless to say, I will not be writing about Gyo Fujikawa's book.  To do so would be redundant.

So, I'll settle for John Burningham, tonight.  This was in the stack of books I read to the kiddos earlier, after baths and during popcorn. I scooped up a bunch of snow themed books for bedtime reading, because here in the Houston metro area, we are expecting snow.  Squeal!

So, while my babes are watching Lady and the Tramp and waiting for the white stuff, I give you Seasons.  Enjoy!
