This image is from a Bored, Nothing To Do by Peter Spier, a book available to purchase here in my etsy book shop. This week's give is a little different, and if I do say so myslef, a bit more exciting. I'm giving away a $25 gift certificate to be used in my shop, Books For Breakfast.

That's it folks. And before I forget, congratulations to Kim P. who won last week's give! Shoot me an email with your physical address and I'll get it in the mail.
I'll leave you with some images from books in my shop.
"Bored, Nothing to Do" is a gem, a jewel - a book that mesmerizes everyone who sees it. Though it communicates mainly through pictures, and has probably less than 200 words, it is most fascinating to middle-aged children. My own kids were absolutely inspired by this little piece of genius.
ReplyDeleteYour other pics are all wonderful images from wonderful books. Thanks for the memories! I'll visit your etsy shop and enter the contest. L
Ooooo! I like this one. I already own all the other books you've given away, but there are a number of books in your shop I'd like to have - Cranberry Thanksgiving and Christmas, some Ernest and Celestine or Paddington, and a few individual gems I'd be tempted to buy without having read before.
ReplyDeleteThanks!
Hi Heather, your etsy shop is outstanding, full of great old books at good prices. Here are the ones I would go for: "The Woodland Folk Meet the Giants", and "The Big Elephant."
ReplyDeleteI'll feature your post on my new blog and get back to you with the url. Though I'm afraid no one but you is looking at it yet :-)
Here is
ReplyDeletemy link, and I have liked your bfb page on FB.
Hugs,
